JOB TITLE:   Technical Systems Analyst

REPORTS TO:  Technical Systems Manager

JOB PURPOSE:   Provides technical systems support for the company IT infrastructure.


The Technical Systems Analyst will couple excellent customer service and technical skills to provide helpdesk support to the corporate IT infrastructure. The role provides immediate support using email and chat applications for simple IT issues and for more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, employee will be supported via phone and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals.
  • Provide day to day helpdesk support to Cumberland employees
  • Resolves network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.
  • Desktop imaging for laptop replacements
  • Manage corporate anti-virus software
  • Provide network and server support for Managed Services call center
  • Provide basic phone system support for Managed Services call center


  • BS in Computer Science or related fields and/or equivalent experience
  • 2+ yrs related work experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Technical Experience includes:
    • Networking technology (Switches, routers, firewalls, wireless)
    • Virtual computing
    • Helpdesk management
    • Server management (Windows)
    • Firewall management
    • Wireless network management
    • Hard drive imaging
    • Anti-virus/malware technologies
